Social competences determine the level of an individual's socialization and maturity to perform various social roles.

At CKU, we conduct trainings and personal development workshops both in-person and online.

SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING

TUS, or Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Social Skills Training, is a form of work with a group focused on learning effective ways of functioning in society and supporting the social competences of people:

  • who have difficulties with relationships and behaviour in a group

  • with various disorders and interpersonal difficulties

  • in parallel with another therapy, e.g. in the case of ADHD, autism, social anxiety, DDA syndrome, DDD, co-dependency and other similar difficulties or disorders

  • in situations in which a person is recovering from their addiction - it helps them develop new social skills that will help them maintain abstinence and in the process of sobering up

During training, the process of learning, modeling and role-playing is used, which helps people of all ages to develop strategies for coping with everyday situations and to name, understand and regulate emotions in a constructive way.

When creating a group, we pay attention to its age, cognitive, intellectual and communication levels. Then the forms of support used during training are adequate to the capabilities of each participant, who will be able to fully benefit from the classes.
