psychoterapia indywidualna

If you would like to book your first session but you cannot yet specify your problem, please select →

This is key to treatment, support and assistance because it respects the uniqueness of each person. Each person brings their own story, problems and needs to the office, and this requires a personalized treatment plan, not a one-size-fits-all scheme.

At CKU we approach each client individually

INDIVIDUALPSYCHOTHERAPY

Every person has their own history, needs, resources and limitations. Therefore, in the centre we are guided by an individual approach to the client and this is how we create a plan of psychological help.

Individual psychotherapy is a proposal for people who, after initial individual consultations - 3-4 meetings - have an internal readiness to work on themselves and a need for personal development.

The terms of cooperation are established individually.

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place on fixed dates.

GROUPADDICTION PSYCHOTHERAPY

At CKU we offer group addiction therapy online.

The group is open, which means you can join it at any stage.

The therapeutic contract is based on maintaining abstinence from psychoactive substances and gambling.

Psychotherapeutic work in groups and individual sessions is aimed at stabilizing abstinence, developing ways of dealing with cravings for psychoactive substances, addictive behaviours, preventing relapses and working on personal problems.

Admission to the therapeutic group may take place after participating in a minimum of 3 individual consultation sessions (online or live) aimed at identifying the client's needs related to addiction treatment, diagnosing co-existing problems and strengthening motivation for treatment.

ACoA / ACDF GROUPPSYCHOTHERAPY

A therapeutic group for Adults who struggle with childhood wounds.

The family, as a place where we learn to love and build relationships, should by its nature be a safe and empowering place.

However, this is not always the case.

The CKU Centre has been conducting group therapy for Adults who have experienced difficulties in their families of origin for many years.

PSYCHOTHERAPYFOR FAMILIES

No one grows in an emptiness.

When one family member experiences some pain (which manifests itself in behaviour or emotional reactions), then to some extent all members of that family feel that pain and suffer. Hence, family therapy is addressed to all members of the family.

CO-DEPENDENCYPSYCHOTHERAPY

Co-dependency is not a disease. It is a set of characteristics and behaviours resulting from improper (inadequate) adaptation to a difficult, long-term and destructive situation, such as the addiction of a loved one. This situation significantly limits the freedom of choice of action, leads to a deterioration of the mental state of the person with co-dependency syndrome and makes it difficult to change one's own situation for the better.

PSYCHOTHERAPYFOR COUPLES

Couples therapy is aimed at people in close, lasting intimate relationships. It aims to improve the quality and satisfaction of both people in the relationship.

Sessions, or meetings between a couple and a psychotherapist, can be longer than in the case of individual therapy and usually last between 50 minutes and 75 minutes.

During the consultation, the therapist, taking into account the needs and expectations of the couple, will propose the best form of help and support.

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAND PREVENTION

At CKU, we run workshops, social skills training, psychoeducational and preventive webinars focused on various areas of human life in online and live form.

From the beginning of its activity, CKU has paid great attention to addiction prevention, which is directed to adults, but also to youth and children in Polish schools in Ireland.

Education about mental health reduces the stigma associated with the presence of symptoms of mental, emotional, psychosomatic and personality disorders and encourages the use of professional help and support. It prevents exclusion and loneliness.
